Reminiscent of ochre and iron markings in the ancient hills of the south of France.  "Prehistoric", watercolour on 300 lb Arches paper, mounted on aluminum, cold wax varnish.  This piece is part of a large show, A Wash of Watercolour, presented by members of the Belleville Art Association now showing at the John M Parrott Art Gallery.  Visit the gallery for an amazing art-viewing experience.

Hello John, Thank you for your inquiry about "Prehistoric".
The artwork is on 300 lb Arches watercolour paper, 22" X 30", mounted on buffed aluminum, which brings the total outside dimensions to 26" x 34".
