Exposed

Exposed

Sometimes we are vulnerable,

     feeling defenceless, without protection.

Terror chokes with icy grip.

Weakness comes; the soul crumbles,

but Courage wraps its cloak lovingly.

With passion and strength, fears are faced.

Being exposed is an opportunity

     to gather fortitude,

Overcoming panic and despair.
