Remote Route

Getting lost while cycling the quiet country lanes of the Perigord, France, rarely bothered me. I knew that, even with a detailed map, it was easy to meander and lose oneself to the beauty of the landscape. Asking directions from a local farmer often resulted in discoveries of unexpected landmarks. Eventually, all roads lead to main roads, and the reverie is over….’til the next time.
