Into The Mystic Light

There is a beautiful small church in Ontario that has a touching story behind its glorious stained glass. During WW 11, a young Canadian officer noticed that, amid the devastation of the areas of France where he was stationed, there was extensive damage to the churches that he encountered. He asked his men to collect as much of the shards of stained glass that they could manage. Later he arranged to ship the glass to Canada, where it was used by master stained glass artists to recreate and redesign windows in the church in the town where he grew up.
