Fado #1 Oiça lá Ó Senhor Vinho (Nuno Nazareth Fernandes) Listen Here, Senhor Wine
Fado, the national music of Portugal, is elegant, nostalgic, heartfelt. Portuguese fado singer Mariza expresses the music beautifully:
Fado #1 Oiça lá Ó Senhor Vinho (Nuno Nazareth Fernandes)
(Listen Here, Senhor Wine)
Listen here, Senhor Wine
Tell me now, quite frankly
Why do you take all steadiness
From those you meet in your path?
I was once the keeper of wine
The lonely leaf playing ín the wind
I was the sunbeam on the earth
Caressing the sweet grape.
